The second Saturday of La Feria de las Flores features an antique car parade, running from the south in Envigado up through Poblado along the main strip, Avenida Las Vegas.
It’s a popular event, and more family friendly for little kids than La Cabalgata which was utter mayhem by comparison.
It’s best to stake out a spot early along the parade route, as it’s easier to get good views of the cars, and thus take better photos.
Plenty of people will be walking around selling cold beers, ice cream, empanadas, and traditional hats, which aren’t a bad idea given how strong the sun can be.
